Nothing has announced a color refresh for its earbuds, the Ear (Open). Originally available in white, buyers across the globe can now purchase it in a new light blue color.

Following a teaser hinting at a color refresh for its open-ear earbuds, Nothing has now officially released a new color for the Ear (Open) earbuds. First announced in September 2024, the Nothing Ear (Open) have been available in a single white color option since they were first released.

The new color is simply called Blue, and it is a light shade of blue with a matching case. The new pair of earbuds is available to purchase now in Finland for €109, €99 in France and Germany, $99 in the US (available on Amazon), and £89 in the UK on the Nothing website. Unfortunately, the new color is not yet available to buy in India. Save for the new paint job, the features are the same as those of the white variant.

The Nothing Ear (Open) earbuds have an ear-hook design and can be adjusted to fit the shape of the ears for a comfortable fit. Each earbud weighs 8.1 grams and has a 14.2 mm dynamic driver. The earbuds and the case are also rated IP54 for dust and water resistance.

The spec sheet says they connect via Bluetooth 5.3, and have support for Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair. There is also Bluetooth Multipoint, which means they can be connected to two devices simultaneously. The earbuds have support for AAC and SBC codecs, and users can adjust the EQ via the Nothing X app. They also feature a low-lag mode for gaming, ChatGPT integration, and pinch controls.

The advertised battery life for the earbuds is 8 hours (30 hours with the charging case) of playback time on a single charge, but in our review of the Nothing Ear (Open), they lasted almost 10 hours on a charge. There's support for fast charging too, as a quick 10-minute charge will provide up to 10 hours of use (with the case). The Nothing Ear (Open) can work with both Android and iOS devices.
