Xiaomi Clip-On: Xiaomi teases brand new earbuds with launch coming soon

Earlier today, Xiaomi announced the imminent launch of a new flagship smartphone with Leica cameras and a large display. Additionally, it presented the Band 10 Pro, a new budget fitness tracker whose existence had already been exposed by multiple leaks.
Xiaomi has confirmed that it will be introducing a new pair of earbuds, too. For the time being, Xiaomi is being exceptionally secretive about what these earbuds could be. Writing on Weibo, the company merely claims that it has developed an 'exciting new product' of some sort. The accompanying teaser image only provides a glimpse at these unnamed earbuds too, while adding that they feature a new form factor.
From what Xiaomi has revealed so far, we suspect it is preparing to rival the Anker Soundcore C50i and Sony LinkBuds Clip (curr. $228 on Amazon) with clip-on earbuds of its own. Xiaomi has also teased that its new earbuds are coming soon, albeit without elaborating further. The timing of today's announcement implies that the earbuds will launch alongside the Xiaomi 17 Max, which will debut later this month.
