Pokémon‑branded Anker Soundcore C50i clip‑on earphones arrive in Pikachu and Eevee editions, IP55‑rated open‑ear designs with up to 28 hours of total playback. They support the standard SBC and AAC Bluetooth audio codecs for compatibility, and the Hi-Res Audio LDAC codec (on Android) for high-resolution music playback.

Anker Japan has unveiled two Pokémon-branded Soundcore C50i clip-on earphones, a Pikachu model (D1101NK1) and an Eevee model (D1101NR1). Both will be available from Anker Japan for 13,990 yen (~$89) in July 2026. Announcement of the launch will be made on the Anker Japan account on X.

The Soundcore C50i Pikachu and Eevee earphones weigh 5.5 g (0.19 oz.) each and are IP55-rated for dust- and water-resistance. Anker says they have a runtime of up to 7 hours between recharges using the 44.5 g (1.57 oz.) charging case, which provides a total of 28 hours of runtime. Charging the earbuds takes 1.2 hours, while the case takes 3.2 hours. The case is easy to carry thanks to a compact 6.2 x 3.1 x 4.1 cm (2.44 x 1.22 x 1.61 in.) size.

Their open design allows nearby voices and important sounds to be heard at all times, while eliminating the annoying feeling of having an ear tip inserted deep into the ear canals. This also greatly reduces the need for constant cleaning since there is no wax buildup on the earphones. AI-powered noise reduction helps the two microphones transmit voices clearly during calls.

Although open earphones tend to leak sound into the vicinity, the Soundcore C50i earbuds are designed to fit closely next to the ears, reducing noise leakage by 33.93% versus the previous generation, according to Anker. At the same time, 12 mm dynamic drivers are used to increase bass and sound richness, the company says.

The C50i supports the standard SBC and AAC Bluetooth audio codecs when connected to Android and Apple smartphones, or other Bluetooth audio sources. When connected to Android phones, the earphones support the use of the Hi-Res Audio LDAC audio codec for high-resolution music streams as high as 990 kbps at 32-bit, 96 kHz.

Readers who don't care about Pokémon but want to try an open-ear earphone can buy the regular Soundcore C50i on Amazon in purple, black, or white.
