Hisense GX Ultra: 5K gaming monitor with RGB mini-LED panel listed for pre-order in China

Hisense, a brand known for making a wide range of TVs, entered the high-end gaming monitor market last March. It showed off the GX Ultra and UX Ultra: 5K gaming monitors with flagship-tier specs such as the ability to operate at separate resolutions/refresh rates. At that time, Hisense did not reveal pricing information, but now one of the monitors has appeared on a Chinese e-commerce platform.
The Hisense GX Ultra has been listed on JD.com for RMB 6,999 (~USD 1,030 on May 7, 2026). That includes a RMB 1,000 discount. Pre-orders kick off today, and the monitor is slated to hit shelves on May 30.
For now, it appears to be a China-only SKU with no hint of a global launch. Some of its key specs include a 27-inch 5K (5,120 × 2,880) mini-LED panel with a refresh rate of 180 Hz. Alternatively, it can also run at QHD (3,440 × 1,440) 330 Hz, making it ideal for e-sports workloads that favour snappier response times to pixel count.
Other Hisense GX Ultra specs include 2,304 local dimming zones on the RGB mini-LED panel, a layer of Hisense’s Obsidian anti-reflection coating, and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. For I/O, Hisense emphasises a DP 2.1 port with no mention of any other connectivity options. More details should ideally emerge as its launch date approaches.
