Sony's Inzone M10S II monitor with Tandem OLED panel and 720Hz mode is now available globally

Sony has started shipping the Inzone M10S II globally a few months after unveiling the monitor alongside the Inzone H6 Air headset. The esports-focused monitor combines a new RGB Tandem WOLED panel with an unusually fast refresh rate, placing it among the quickest OLED gaming monitors currently available.

Buyers in the US can purchase the monitor directly from Sony for $1,099.99. In the UK, it costs £1,199 and is available through Amazon and Sony. The company has also released the Inzone M10S II across the Eurozone, including Germany, Austria, and Finland, but buyers will have to fork out more, with pricing set at €1,349.

Primary RGB Tandem OLED panel advantages

At first glance, the Inzone M10S II looks much like its predecessor (curr: $798 on Amazon). However, Sony has upgraded the monitor with a new Primary RGB Tandem WOLED panel that pushes peak brightness to 1,500 nits while retaining the 27-inch size and 2560 x 1440 resolution. We've already seen this panel in monitors like the Asus ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W (curr: $1,099 on Amazon) and LG Ultragear 27GX790B-B (curr: $699.99 on Amazon).

The biggest highlight here is speed. The panel runs at a native 540Hz refresh rate, but Sony's Dynamic Frequency and Resolution (DFR) mode can boost it to 720Hz by lowering the resolution to 720p. Sony has also included a dedicated 24.5-inch mode for players who prefer the smaller screen size commonly found at esports tournaments. Other gaming-focused features include VRR Anti-flicker technology, Motion Blur Reduction, and Dynamic Crosshair.

Unlike the glossy Asus PG27AQWP-W, the Inzone M10S I uses a "super anti-glare film" coating, which should be similar to the LG 27GX790B-B. That said, the monitor comes with both DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR13.5) and HDMI 2.1, and includes plenty of other ports, including two USB Type-A and aheadphone jack.
