Sony has finally announced the Inzone H6 Air headphones that weigh just 199 grams. It's available to order starting today for $199.99.

Sony has officially expanded its Inzone lineup with new gaming gear, and one of the highlights is the Inzone H6 Air headset. This model was leaked earlier, but now we finally have full details about what it offers and how it stands out from other gaming headsets.

The biggest change here is the open-back design. Unlike traditional closed gaming headsets, the H6 Air allows air and sound to pass through the earcups. This helps create a wider and more natural soundstage. On top of that, Sony has used driver technology inspired by its studio-grade MDR-MV1 headphones to help them deliver clear and detailed sound across different frequencies.

Another key feature is how light the headset is. At around 199 grams, it is one of the lightest gaming headsets Sony has made. The design includes an aluminum structure and a flexible headband system that keeps it comfortable during long sessions.

Sony has also worked with PlayStation Studios to fine-tune the audio experience. There is a special EQ profile designed for RPG and adventure games, focusing on environmental detail and immersion. When connected through the Inzone Hub software, the headset can also deliver virtual 7.1 surround sound using 360 Spatial Sound technology.

The H6 Air also includes a cardioid boom microphone. It focuses on the user’s voice while reducing background noise, which helps keep voice chat clear during gameplay. James Pero from Gizmodo tested the microphone in Fortnite, where his teammate said he “sounds fantastic.”

In any case, the Inzone H6 Air is available to order starting today at $199.99, and you can buy it via Sony, Amazon, or Best Buy
