Sony confirms new 2026 launch event with multiple devices teased

Sony is expected to launch several new devices in the next six weeks or so. Having kicked off the year with the WF-1000XM6 (curr. $328 on Amazon), the company is rumoured to be preparing a more expensive alternative to the WH-1000XM6 called The ColleXion. Potentially, these over-ear headphones will be joined by the Xperia 1 VIII too.

While those devices are reportedly due in May, evidence has emerged that a new pair of Inzone headphones will arrive later this month. Now, Sony has confirmed as much in several posts across its social media channels. Embedded below, the teaser hints that the company will be launching at least three other Inzone-branded products.

Based on recent leaks, one of these will be a refreshed pair of Inzone Buds. As far as we can tell, these are represented by the upper right silhouette in the embedded tweet below. If previous Inzone releases are anything to go by, then Sony has developed a new monitor, mouse and mousepad too. Only details about the Inzone H6 Air have emerged so far, though. Currently, these are expected to be cheaper alternatives to the Inzone H9 II with $199 launch pricing.
