More than two years after launching the Inzone Buds, Sony has announced a new color, bringing the available options to three. It has also slashed the price of the earbuds by a significant amount.

Just as a leak revealed, Sony has announced a new color option for its Inzone Buds. The gaming earbuds were first released in Black and White colors, but have now been joined by a third color, albeit a transparent one. In addition to announcing a new color, Sony has slashed the price of the earbuds, too.

The new color is called Glass Purple and it is translucent, which means you can see the internal components. It is worth mentioning that Sony has adopted both a matte and glossy finish for the earbuds. As seen in the images, the outer part of the earbuds is glossy while the inner part has a matte finish.

It isn't just the earbuds that are purple, the charging case and the USB-C dongle are also the same purple color. However, unlike the earbuds which have a dual finish, the case and dongle have a matte finish.

The Sony Inzone Buds can now be purchased in a new transparent purple color.

Sony has also slashed the price of the Inzone Buds gaming earbuds. Originally priced at $239.99, buyers can save $60 and get them for $179.99. The discount applies to all colors, including the new Glass Purple variant; and interested buyers can buy the Inzone Buds at the new low price on Sony's website. However, if you don't mind, you can save even more money by purchasing the black variant on Amazon for $169.98.

The Inzone Buds are truly wireless earbuds made for gaming. Designed in collaboration with professional gamers, they have noise cancellation, 360 spatial audio for gaming, and support for 2.4GHz connection. They also have AI noise reduction, which ensures that your voice is clear during gaming sessions. The earbuds, which have an advertised battery life of up to 12 hours (up to 24 hours with the charging case) are compatible with the PS5, PCs, and mobile devices.
