Several Samsung Galaxy Watch users are facing battery drain issues after recent updates. The issue isn't limited to a single device, as users with different models are complaining about their battery draining quickly.

Samsung regularly rolls out updates for its Galaxy Watch lineup. These updates usually add new features, fix bugs, and improve the overall experience. However, it looks like the latest updates have ended up doing more harm than good.

Over on the r/GalaxyWatch subreddit, several users are reporting serious battery drain issues after installing recent updates. The complaints are coming from different models, which suggests the issue is not limited to just one device.

One user with the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 shared that their battery started draining much faster after last month’s update. They were able to fix it temporarily by restarting the watch, but the issue returned after about a week.

Another user using the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro said their battery life dropped significantly. Before the update, they could easily get more than a full day on a single charge. Now, the watch barely lasts four to five hours, which is a huge drop.

One user who owns the Galaxy Watch 6, Galaxy Watch 7 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 claimed they are facing the same battery drain issue on all watches. According to them, the Watch Ultra previously lasted around four days without Always on Display, but now it struggles to last even two days.

Some users are also reporting performance issues. For instance, one Galaxy Watch 6 owner mentioned that notifications are delayed by several seconds when raising the wrist. In some cases, the watch continues ringing or glitching even after a call has already been answered.

At the moment, Samsung has not officially addressed these issues or confirmed whether a fix is on the way. But for now, it seems like restarting the device can temporarily fix the issue, but even this method is not working for everyone.
