Galaxy Z Fold 8 and more: Launch date for three Samsung foldables leaked

In recent days, designs for all three of Samsung's 2026 foldables have already leaked. Alongside the Galaxy Z Fold8 and the Galaxy Z Flip8, the Galaxy Z Wide Fold is likely drawing the most attention, as it would put Samsung in direct competition with the first iPhone Fold, which Apple is expected to launch in September alongside the iPhone 18 Pro lineup.
Samsung is moving much earlier. As usual, the next Galaxy Unpacked event is expected to take place in the hottest part of the summer, and according to a leak from Korea, both a specific launch date and the venue have already been set. The next major Galaxy Unpacked launch is said to take place on Wednesday, July 22, this time apparently in London, according to a South Korean website citing industry sources. Whether that information is accurate remains to be seen, as there is currently no official confirmation.
Based on leaked CAD renders, neither the successor to the Galaxy Z Fold7 (available on Amazon) nor the successor to the Galaxy Z Flip7 is expected to change much. With the compact foldable that may be called the Galaxy Z Wide Fold, however, Samsung would be entering somewhat new territory. When unfolded, it is expected to feature a 7.6-inch AMOLED display in a 4:3 aspect ratio, while the cover display, at 5.4 inches, is noticeably smaller than on Samsung's previous book-style foldables. The Samsung foldable, which is likely 0.39 inches thick, is also expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 but only offer a dual-camera setup.
