New ultra-premium foldable released internationally with big launch discounts

Motorola has finally released its first book-style foldable internationally. Arriving a few days later than planned, the Razr Fold has already received a hefty discount with multiple accessories thrown in for good measure. To recap, the Razr Fold rivals the Galaxy Z Fold7 and others with the following hardware:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset
- 8.09-inch & 6.56-inch LTPO pOLED
- 50 MP primary, 50 MP telephoto & 50 MP ultra-wide-angle rear-facing cameras
- 20 MP cover and 32 MP internal selfie cameras
- 6,000 mAh silicon carbon battery with 50 W wireless & 80 W wired charging
Motorola has packaged all this hardware inside an IP49-certified housing that weighs 243 g and measures 160 x 73.6 x 9.89 mm or 4.55 mm in its unfolded state. The company promises to keep issuing security updates until March 2030 too, albeit without a guarantee for how many OS updates beyond Android 16 it will issue.
The Razr Fold retails for £1,799 in the UK and €1,748 in the Eurozone with 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB of storage and a choice between Blackened Blue or Lily White finishes. However, Motorola has already discounted the foldable to £1,579 with a stylus, a Moto Watch and a pair of Moto Buds Loop (curr. $129 on Amazon) included.
Please note that this offer and €250/£250 discount will be available until May 3. Pre-orders should start shipping on May 6. Meanwhile, Fifa World Cup 26 Collection pricing runs to £2,199/€2,389.99 with a pair of two World Cup tickets. Please see Motorola's website for more details.
