Motorola's next premium foldable revealed in wood and Alcantara finishes
The launch of new Razr clamshell foldables appears to be almost upon us. For the time being, Motorola is focusing on the Razr Fold, which will be available later this month internationally. However, the volume of recent Razr 70 series leaks suggests that the Razr 70 and Razr 70 Ultra are not far behind.
For context, multiple sources revealed details about the Razr 70 last week. Now, Android Headlines and OnLeaks have followed this up with equivalent information about the Razr 70 Ultra. This time though, the pair have managed to obtain press renders showcasing Motorola's next high-end clamshell foldable.
Embedded below, the images likely represent some but not all of the colours in which the Razr 70 Ultra will be available. For instance, Motorola sells the Razr 60 Ultra in a choice of four colours (curr. $799.99 on Amazon). As far as we can tell, these two Pantone colours will line up as Cocoa Brown and Orient Blue.
The former carries over the wood texture of previous Razr foldables, though. Likewise, Orient Blue offers an Alcantara finish. Motorola has not yet confirmed a launch date for its new clamshell foldables. The company is unlikely to comment further until after it opens Razr Fold pre-orders on April 11.
