The GameSir Spirit Fox is a new affordable controller that is compatible with Android, iOS, Switch and PC thanks to its wired design. Possibly launching globally later this year as the GameSir T3 Lite, the controller is exceptionally cheap even by GameSir's existing standards.

Under a month has passed since GameSir introduced the X5 Lite as its latest affordable mobile gaming controller. Now, the company has returned to conventional controllers with the Spirit Fox, which it has launched in China. Please note that Spirit Fox is a literal translation. Alternatively, the controller could be known as the Arctic Fox, Silver Fox or the Black Fox.

At any rate, the images that ITHome has published so far suggest that GameSir will eventually release the controller as the T3 Lite globally. Regardless, GameSir's latest controller sits at the opposite end of the scale from the Super Nova that we reviewed in March (curr. $49.99 on Amazon). While the Super Nova provides 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth and wired connectivity options, the Spirit Fox makes do with just the latter.

Still, this ensures that GameSir's new controller is compatible with Android, iOS, Switch and PC. Moreover, the Spirit Fox has Hall effect joysticks, dual motors and a 1,000 Hz polling rate. GameSir states that the controller boasts 2 ms input delay and two rear-mounted macro buttons. GameSir has not confirmed when the Spirit Fox or T3 Lite will be available globally. For reference, the controller retails for CNY 49.9 in China, which currently converts to around $7.
