The Epic Games Store has started a new giveaway for its free PC game program. Announced last week, this week's free game offering replaces Super Space Club, which will remain free to add to your Epic Games library until 15:00 UTC today. While last week's deal was worth $14.99, the inclusion of a second title this time around takes the value of this week's deal to $27.98.
As the videos below indicate, the storefront has decided to offer Deadtime Defenders and Touch Type Tale at 100% discounts from today. Available for $7.99 and $19.99, respectively, the two games should run on most modern integrated graphics like the Radeon 780M or Intel Arc 140V paired with at least 8 GB of RAM. Alternatively, older discrete solutions such as the Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti or GTX 1050 Ti (curr. $119.98 on Amazon) should be capable of handling both titles.
As it stands, Deadtime Defenders achieves 'Positive' reviews on Steam despite being an Early Access title. Meanwhile, Touch Type Tale averages Very Positive reviews on the same platform. On top of that, the latter game received the Best Expert Game award at the German Computer Game Awards in 2023, as well as the Innovation prize by the German Developer Award during the same year. Please see Epic Games' store listings for more details.
