The Epic Games Store has just started giving away a game worth $14.99 on PC. However, it has already confirmed which titles this week's giveaway will be replaced by. Combining RPG elements, Deadtime Defenders and Touch Type Tale will be free to pick up from next Thursday.

The Epic Games Store has now updated its free game deals across PC, Android and iOS. While the storefront likes to keep future giveaways on its mobile program underwraps, it has decided to showcase next week's free games on PC ahead of time.

From next Thursday at 15:00 UTC, it will be possible to download both Deadtime Defenders and Touch Type Tale in a deal worth a combined $27.98. On the face of it, Deadtime Defenders is a side-scrolling shooter, whereas Touch Type Tale is a typing strategy game. Both combine RPG elements though centred around single player campaigns. Deadtime Defenders and Touch Type Tale have achieved positive and very positive ratings on Steam too, respectively.

Both titles should run on pretty much any system released in the last few years, thanks to relatively low system requirements. Specifically, the pair call for around 8 GB of RAM and an older Nvidia GPU like the GeForce GTX 750 Ti or GTX 1050 Ti (curr. $119.98 on Amazon). Please see Epic Games' Deadtime Defenders and Touch Type Tale store listings for more details.
