The Chinese gaming peripheral brand Syntech has unveiled its latest Chronos 68 Rapid Trigger Magnetic keyboard. The company’s new mechanical keyboard is designed with gamers in mind, featuring an aluminum alloy construction and double-shot wear-resistant and oil-proof PBT keycaps.
The mechanical keyboard features Outdo magnetic switches and offers an 8000 Hz polling rate similar to the Akko Year of Dragon keyboard (currently at $129.99 on Amazon), ensuring a faster response. Plus, it supports adjustable actuation points ranging from 0.1 mm to 3.5 mm for ultimate control. The Chronos 68 comes with a rapid trigger functionality, which allows you to set actuation as low as 0.1 mm. Unfortunately, it lacks Hall-effect magnetic switches.
Furthermore, the wired keyboard boasts SnapTap technology, which is designed for precise movement. This technology prioritizes your most recent directional input when conflicting keys are pressed, allowing for smooth, uninterrupted transitions while gaming. The 65% wired keyboard has dedicated companion software support (available as both an app and web interface), which allows you to further tweak the keyboard’s settings, such as setting macros, adjusting actuation points, remapping keys, changing RGB lights, and more. In addition to the above functionality, you can also save unlimited custom profiles across games and scenarios.
Moreover, Syntech packs pre-lubricated switches and Poron and PET foam at the core of the keyboard, which provide a smooth and stable typing experience. Nonetheless, it is compatible with both Mac and Windows operating systems.
Available in black, white, and yellow colorways, the Syntech Chronos 68 Rapid Trigger Magnetic keyboard is priced at $139.99. It’s now available for purchase via Syntech’s official website.
