Amazon has the Epomaker TH80 Pro V2 mechanical gaming keyboard with tall, sculpted Flamingo switches on sale at $49.99, a 50% savings off the MSRP of $99.99.
The keyboard uses swappable linear Flamingo switches with an actuation force of 47 gf ± 5 gf and a bottom force of 60 gf. On top are SA-style PBT keycaps that are taller than the OEM keycaps commonly found on desktop PC keyboards. They have a short total travel distance of 3.8 mm with a pre-travel distance before activation of 1.5 ± 0.5 mm. The keys are lit with south-facing RGB LEDs.
Inside the keyboard, multiple layers of gasket and foam help the switches produce a satisfying, loud mechanical thunk. An internal 3,000 mAh battery allows the TH80 to be used wirelessly over Bluetooth 5.0 (125 Hz polling rate) or 2.4 Ghz (dongle included, 500 Hz polling rate) connections. The Epomaker can be used as a wired USB-C keyboard with Windows and Mac computers for faster response during gaming.
The TH80 Pro V2 keyboard is 75% the size of a regular desktop keyboard because it drops the numerical keypad and central column of arrow and home/end keys. Epomaker manages to squeeze a 1.14-inch screen in the upper-right corner above the backspace key. All keys and the screen are VIA software programmable, allowing for deep customization and macro assignment.
