A few days ago, the entry-level 13.inch M3 MacBook Air hit its lowest price ever on Amazon. That variant has since sold out. But, its 24 GB version is still up for grabs. You can buy it for just $1,099 for the Midnight colour variant. Starlight, Silver and Space Gray, for some reason, cost $1,199. This is likely a stock clearance sale because the M3 MacBook Air has been removed from Apple's website since the its M4-powered version dropped earlier this month.
With 24 GB of unified memory, you get 512 GB of on-board storage. Not ideal, but the extra RAM will help you open a few extra Chrome tabs and even engage in some light photo editing. In our 13-inch M3 MacBook Air review, we determined the laptop loses about 28% performance under extended loads. Despite its fanless design, the chassis does a decent job dissipating heat, with surface temperatures not exceeding 44 degrees.
Unfortunately, the M3 MacBook Air doesn't offer much in the way of I/O. You get two Thunderbolt ports, one MagSafe port and a 3.5 mm charging port. And you have to buy a 65 Watt fast charger separately, as you only get a 35 Watt charger in the box. Thankfully, you won't be needing your charger much because the laptop can easily last a full day on a single charge.
