be quiet!, known for its CPU coolers, PSUs, and PC cases, has now expanded its portfolio with two gaming keyboards, the Dark Mount and the Light Mount. They come with silent linear or silent tactile switch options, have diffused ARGB lighting, and detachable magnetic wrist rests. be quiet! has decided to stay away from the magnetic switch trend that most other brands are focusing on.
be quiet! Dark Mount and Light Mount keyboard specifications
The Dark Mount keyboard is the premium offering as it comes with a modular design allowing users to detach the numpad for more space on the desk. It also has a detachable Media Dock, as well as detachable wrist rests. Both the numpad and the Media Dock can be attached on either side of the keyboard. It uses be quiet! Silent switches and to take silent operation a step further, the keyboard feature three layers of sound-proofing, factory-lubricated stabilizers, and dampening foam inside the space bar keycap.
The switches are hot-swappable as well with support for any 5-pin MX style switch. Dark Mount has a brushed-aluminum top plate and customizable ARGB lighting under the double-shot PBT keycaps, as well as around the sides.
The numpad not only houses the standard keys but also has eight customizable Display Keys that can be reprogrammed via the be quiet! IO Center software.
Coming to the Light Mount, it has mostly the same features as the Dark Mount, except for the modular numpad and Media Dock. Instead, it gets a 3D Media Wheel and five dedicated macro keys that can be programmed via the software. It is a full-size keyboard with a magnetic cushioned palm rest and customizable ARGB lighting. What it does have over the Dark Mount is an RGB strip at the top for even more ambient lighting.

The Dark Mount is priced at $255, putting it in the premium gaming keyboard category. The Light Mount, on the other hand, is more affordable at $170. Both models will be sold in North America, United Kingdom, Germany, and France starting April 29.
