The HyperFlux V2 is again trying to come to the rescue of forgetful Razer wireless mouse owners. The latest mouse pad continuously charges devices faster than the previous system. Razer's upgraded technology is compatible with more mice and also pairs with several wireless keyboards.

After a hiatus, Razer is reintroducing its HyperFlux wireless charging ecosystem. The HyperFlux V2 features faster charging and broader compatibility with Razer wireless mouse models. The mouse pad also doubles as a HyperSpeed USB receiver, which connects to a range of cordless keyboards. Versions with hard and cloth textures are now available for $119.99.

The HyperFlux V2 mouse pad supplies continuous power to mice gliding along its surface. Razer's upgraded system utilizes a USB Type-C connection with fast charging capabilities. As a result, it should replenish power levels quicker than the original HyperFlux Firefly mat. With boosted current, Razer promises improved performance compared to its Logitech PowerPlay rival.

One drawback of the previous HyperFlux offering was that it only paired with a bundled Mamba wireless mouse. The Logitech PowerPlay has been successful, partly due to a growing selection of compatible devices. With the HyperFlux V2, an included charging puck fits on the bottom of four Razer wireless mouse options. The Basilisk V3 Pro 35K, Basilisk V3 Pro, Cobra Pro, and Naga V2 Pro auto-pair with the mouse pad's internal wireless receiver. Without a dongle, it connects to several Razer DeathStalker and BlackWidow keyboards to preserve USB ports.

Unlike the original HyperFlux, the upgraded wireless charging pad isn't double-sided. Instead, gamers can order a hard version, which prioritizes speed. The cloth alternative provides more control during rapid mouse movements. In both cases, the Razer mouse pad has an anti-slip rubber base for stability during furious gameplay. As far as dimensions, the HyperFlux V2 pad is roughly the same size as the FireFly V2 Pro.

Chroma RGB fans may fret since the HyperFlux V2 lacks any lighting besides an LED power indicator. However, it favors practicality, with Synapse integration to monitor and optimize charging cycles.

Notebookcheck also has some hands-on impressions of the Razer HyperFlux V2, which can be viewed below:
