Walmart recently announced the Onn 4K Plus streaming box which has been well-received. Now, it has decided to give the three other models in the Onn series a design refresh that is similar to the Onn 4K Plus. The series includes the Onn 4K Pro, the Onn 4K, and the entry level Onn Full HD.
When the Onn 4K Pro, Onn 4K, and Onn Full HD were originally launched, they shipped in a yellow box. Now, Walmart has announced a new retail package for the three streaming devices. The new box is blue and has a similar design to that of the Onn 4K Plus.
While Walmart hasn't officially said, it can be deduced that it has chosen to streamline the packaging for its Onn line of streaming devices. Save for the redesigned packaging, the Onn 4K Pro, Onn 4K, and Onn Full HD are no different from when they first launched.
The 4K Pro still has a backlit voice remote with a Find My feature, hands-free voice control, Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision, and a 4K UHD resolution. There's 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, Wi-Fi 6, a USB 3.0 port, an Ethernet port, and an AC power port. It also comes with an HDMI cable, batteries, and a power adapter in the box.
The Onn 4K can also stream in 4K but doesn't have support for Dolby Vision like the other 4K models. It has the same voice remote as the Full HD model. It is powered by a quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. There's a micro USB port for power input and an HDMI port.
The Onn Full HD as the name says can only stream at Full HD. It has a voice remote, Wi-Fi 5, Dolby Audio, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB of storage, and a Micro USB port. It also comes with an HDMI cable, a power adapter, and batteries for the remote like the Onn 4K.
The Onn 4K Pro sits at the top of Walmart's Onn streaming devices with a $49.88 price tag which makes it cheaper than the Fire TV Stick 4K Max (available on Amazon for $59.99). The Onn 4K Plus costs less with a $29.88 price tag while the Onn 4K is $19.88. The Onn Full HD is the cheapest at $14.88.
