Razer is no stranger to collaborations with gear that celebrates popular games, movies, and TV shows. Its latest product line pays tribute to Kuromi, the cute but naughty Sanrio character. Frustratingly, the Razer Kuromi Collection was originally only sold in China. By popular demand, a black and pink Kuromi headset, keyboard, and chair are available in more regions.
Kuromi is an adorable white rabbit who has appeared in Japanese anime series, including Onegai My Melody and Hello Kitty and Friends. The character has a distinct punk and goth aesthetic that's highlighted in several new Razer peripherals. The Kraken Kitty V2 BT is a Bluetooth gaming headset featuring Kuromi's jester-style ears. While this connectivity isn't ideal for competitive gaming, the Kraken Kitty V2 is extremely popular with streamers.
Razer's Kuromi Collection has options for gamers without unlimited funds. The wired Ornata V3 Tenkleyless has a compact, low-profile design. It lacks traditional mechanical switches, but its Mecha-Membrane keys are quiet and reasonably tactile. Kuromi art is displayed prominently on the wrist rest and complemented by unique RGB lighting. Gamers can pair the Ornata V3 with the affordable DeathAdder Essential corded mouse and Goliathus mouse pad.
Perhaps the Enki X gaming chair is the most desirable part of the Razer Kuromi lineup. Following the theme of the other accessories, the Enki X is a streamlined version of Razer's pricier ergonomic chair. The manufacturer goes all out with the Kuromi design, plastering its front and back with logos and pink skulls.
The Kuromi Collection also includes a Leviathan V2 X soundbar. Buyers will still pay a premium for this anime-themed gear. Still, it's priced more aggressively than most other special edition Razer accessories. The heavy doses of black also match common gaming desks and PC cases. Many items are available for order today on Razer's US website.
