Green House launches Sanrio character smartwatches
Green House has launched four Sanrio character smartwatches for Hello Kitty (GH-SMWL-KT), Kuromi (GH-SMWL-KU), Pompompurin (GH-SMWL-PN), and Cinnamoroll (GH-SMWL-CN) fans. The watches have rectangular watch bodies similar to Apple Watches, but come with fully customized watch bands, wallpapers, and voice alerts and notifications matching the characters.
The Sanrio-branded watches use a 1.83-inch screen with a resolution of 240 x 284 pixels. The watches can monitor heart rate, sleep, steps, activity distance, calories burned, temperature, and blood oxygen saturation all day with IP68 dust and water resistance. They can also monitor 20 different sports activities from running to yoga to soccer, and alert the wearer to take a break when sitting at work too long.
The smartwatches support notifications from common apps, such as email, X, TikTok, and Line. The watches can be used to control voice assistants such as Siri, smartphone cameras as a remote shutter control, and smartphone music playback.
The Sanrio watches support 13 operating languages. They have a typical runtime of over seven days and can be recharged in two hours with the included magnetic charging cable.
The Green House GH-SMWL Sanrio character smartwatches have an MSRP of 14,080 yen (~$90) and are available for preorders from the company store, with shipments starting February 20, 2025.
