Realme has announced a new flagship GT 7 Pro Racing Edition smartphone in China. The company’s new Racing Edition smartphone features a top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a 50 MP Sony IMX 896 main sensor, a 6,500 mAh battery, and a quad-curved LTPO OLED display, among other features. It’s now available for purchase in China.

Realme has unveiled its latest GT 7 Pro Racing Edition smartphone in China. The company’s new flagship smartphone has slightly different specs from the regular model in terms of camera, display, storage, and battery capacity. However, like the regular Realme GT 7 Pro model, the Racing Edition is powered by Qualcomm's top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with Adreno GPU.

The 5G-enabled device ships with multiple RAM and storage variant options: 12 GB + 256 GB, 12 GB + 512 GB, 16 GB + 256 GB, and 16 GB + 512 GB. Unlike the regular model with a triple rear camera setup, the Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition boasts a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50 MP primary camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) support and an 8 MP ultra-wide shooter. Sadly, Realme also ditched the telephoto lens found on the GT 7 Pro. There’s a 16 MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.

Another notable difference is the display. The flagship smartphone has a 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO micro quad-curved OLED display with a peak brightness of 6000 nits and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The panel covers a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and supports Dolby Vision. Furthermore, it does have an IP68 + IP69 water and dust resistance rating and comes in a choice of Star Trail Titanium or Neptune Explorer Edition with blue finishes.

Moreover, Realme packs a large 6,500 mAh battery into the GT 7 Pro Racing Edition that supports 120 W fast charging. Unfortunately, there’s no wireless charging support here. The device runs Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0 out of the box, and there’s no word on software support from the brand.

Other features include an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, ultra-linear dual speakers with Hi-Res and OReality audio, bypass charging support, and a large 11,480 mm² dual-chamber vapor cooling system. Dimensionally, it measures 162.4 x 76.8 x 8.5 mm (~6.39 x 3.02 x 0.33 inches) and weighs 218 grams (0.48 lbs).

The Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition starts at CNY 3,099 (~$425/€405) for the base 12 GB + 256 GB model, and the high-end 16 GB + 512 GB variant is priced at CNY 3,699 (~$550/€525). The smartphone is now available for purchase in China via Realme China's official website and other authorized retailers. However, Realme hasn’t disclosed its global availability at the moment.
