Dimensity 9400 overthrows Snapdragon 8 Elite in latest AnTuTu flagship phone performance ranking

AnTuTu published the latest flagship phone performance ranking. While the Snapdragon 8 Elite has been dominating this chart in the past few months, the Dimensity 9400 has made a comeback, securing the topmost spot in the list curated from January 2025's data.

To be specific, the Vivo X200 Pro Satellite Edition with Dimensity 9400 has taken the number one spot in the latest performance ranking. It got an average of 2,896,624 points. The Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered OnePlus Ace 5 Pro got the second spot, with an average score of 2,888,193 points.

It's worth noting that the score difference between the two isn't much, but in the last few months, the Dimensity 9400-powered devices had a tough time against the Snapdragon 8 Elite flagships in AnTuTu's performance ranking. For example, the ROG Phone 9 Pro had a significant lead against the Vivo X200 Pro in November 2024.

The story is pretty much the same for the AnTuTu flagship ranking from December 2024. Getting back to the latest list, the other phones that have made it to the top 10 positions are as follows:

• RedMagic 10 Pro+ (512 GB 10 Pro curr. $899 on Amazon) with the Snapdragon 8 Elite got the 3rd spot with an average of 2,868,701 points
• iQoo 13 with the Snapdragon 8 Elite has the 4th spot with an average of 2,853,651 points
• iQoo Neo10 Pro with the Dimensity 9400 obtained the 5th spot with an average of 2,836,633 points
• Vivo X200 with the Dimensity 9400 achieved the 6th spot with an average of 2,816,213 points
• Vivo X200 Pro Mini with the Dimensity 9400 got the 7th spot with an average of 2,799,774 points
• OnePlus 13 with the Snapdragon 8 Elite got the 8th spot with an average of 2,752,630 points
• Oppo Find X8 Pro Satellite Edition with the Dimensity 9400 obtained the 9th spot with an average of 2,706,662 points
• Honor Magic 7 Pro with the Snapdragon 8 Elite secured the 10th spot with an average of 2,684,156 points

Worth noting that AnTuTu curates these monthly rankings by considering a couple of factors. One of them requires the devices to have at least 1,000 valid runs through the month, which is why the rankings don't remain the same every month. Also, it's not just the synthetic benchmark scores that matter. You should also consider other important aspects like the screen, camera performance, battery, and software.
