Razer Basilisk V3 Pro launches as the company's 'most advanced mouse to date'
Razer has started selling another Basilisk-branding gaming mouse, building on the Basilisk V3 that the company announced last year. Billed as Razer's 'most advanced mouse to date', the Basilisk V3 Pro features the company's HyperScroll Tilt Wheel, 13-zone Chroma Lighting with 'full underglow and third generation optical switches. According to Razer, the latter should last for up to 90 million clicks.
Additionally, Razer has equipped the Basilisk V3 Pro with the Focus Pro 30K optical sensor, the company's marketing name for the Pixart PAW3950. Moreover, the Basilisk V3 Pro has 11 programmable buttons, including one of the mouse's bottom. Furthermore, the Basilisk V3 Pro has enough onboard memory for 4+1 profiles and a battery that can last up to 90 hours (HyperSpeed). Separately, the Basilisk V3 Pro weighs 112 g excluding its cable, making it a fair bit heavier than other gaming mice.
Razer adds that the Basilisk V3 Pro measures 130 x 75.4 x 42.5 mm. Unfortunately, Razer sells the Mouse Dock Pro and Wireless Charging Puck separately. The Basilisk V3 Pro is orderable now for US$159.99 and €179.99 in the Eurozone. Conversely, the Mouse Dock Pro costs US$69.99 and €99.99, while the Wireless Charging Puck comes in at US$19.99 and €24.99. Alternatively, Razer offers the Basilisk V3 Pro + Wireless Charging Puck Bundle for US$169.99 and €193.99 or the Basilisk V3 Pro + Mouse Dock Pro Bundle for US$199.99 and €242.99.
