Asus announces pricing and availability for its ROG Wireless AimPoint swappable-switch mice in the North American market
Asus has launched ROG mice that, despite their different names, have the same "ergonomic" design and both wired and wireless 2.4GHz/Bluetooth modes. Both are equipped with in-house AimPoint optical sensor of a 100-36,000 dpi resolution, a speed of 650 inches per second (ips), and a 1,000Hz polling rate.
However, the ROG Gladius III Wireless AimPoint is the only one of the 2 with RGB lighting, which makes it 4 grams (g) heavier than the 75g Keris Wireless AimPoint. Nevertheless, both have the same ROG SpeedNova wireless technology rated to optimize their connections when used in 2.4 GHz mode.
The mice also have ROG Paracord and 100% PTFE "Omni" feet for seamless movement, according to Asus, at least. They also have a Push-Fit Switch Socket II system that allows them to use either their default ROG Micro Switches or a range of compatible 3-pin mechanical or 5-pin optical micro-switches.
Therefore, the user could customize their feedback at will with these new peripherals. Either new mouse also comes with optional ROG-branded grip tape for their left and right buttons.
Asus has announced that the ROG Gladius III Wireless AimPoint and Keris Wireless AimPoint will become official in the North American market in the last quarter of 2022 for US$109.99 and US$89.99 respectively - then again, they can both be imported via Amazon right now for US$116.22 and US$64.99 without shipping.
