Logitech MX Master 3S: Premium wireless mouse presented with two major upgrades
Logitech has introduced the MX Master 3S, a wireless mouse that builds on the MX Master 3. According to Logitech, the MX Master 3S provides greater tactility, performance and flow than its predecessor, which it equips with a new sensor. As expected, the optical sensor supports up to 8,000 DPI, up from 4,000 DPI with the MX Master 3. The company adds that you can adjust tracking sensitivity via the Logi Options+ app; there are no dedicated DPI preset buttons on the MX Master 3S as there are on other mice.
Additionally, Logitech has included 'Quiet Clicks', a new switch style that Logitech promises delivers 90% less click noise than the MX Master 3 produces while retaining its click feel. Also, Logitech equips the MX Master 3S with its MagSpeed Electromagnetic wheel that can scroll through up to 1,000 lines per second. As with previous MX Master mice, the MX Master 3S supports all popular operating systems and can pair with to up three devices.
For reference, Logitech will offer the MX Master 3S in graphite and pale grey colourways, which both measure 124.9 x 84.3 x 51 mm and weigh 141 g. At launch, the MX Master 3S will retail for €129.99 in the Eurozone, regardless of the colour chosen. Unsurprisingly, Logitech will sell the MX Master 3S outside the Eurozone, too. Incidentally, MX Master 3S orders should begin shipping later this month in the Eurozone.
