Baseus GaN 100 W Fast Charger launches with USB-C and USB-A ports
The Baseus GaN 100 W Fast Charger is now available to pre-order. The compact gadget can charge two devices at once via USB-C and USB-A ports. PD, QC and PPS fast charging technologies are supported.
You can charge many laptops, smartphones, tablets, smartwatches and headphones with the device. For example, in 30 minutes, a MacBook Pro would charge 39%, a Thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen8 or an iPhone 13 would gain 50%, and a Huawei P40 would charge 60%.
In single-port mode, you can charge at 100 W via USB-C and 65 W via USB-A. When using the ports simultaneously, the output is 65 W via USB-C and 30 W for the USB-A port. The plug can handle a 100-240 V AC input, and a light indicates when the gadget is working.
Trickle protection allows you to charge devices overnight, reducing the output when your device reaches 80% battery level. The Baseus GaN fast charger has BCT heat dissipation technology, ensuring the charger runs at a lower temperature. Plus, the gadget has eight-fold protection for overvoltage and other possible faults.
The gadget is about the size of your palm, measuring 55 x 30 x 75 mm (~2.2 x 1.2 x 3.0-in) and weighing 216 g (~7.6 oz). Foldable pins make the device easier to carry, and the charger comes with a 1 m (3.3 ~ft) USB-C to USB-C 100 W charging cable.
You can now pre-order the Baseus GaN Gallium Nitride Fast Charger in China for 159 yuan (~US$24), with a 10 yuan (~US$1.50) deposit. After this pre-sale period, the price will increase to 229 yuan (~US$34).
