MagyarNovoo launches (allegedly) world's first SuperVOOC 67W GaN charger
Also manufacturing accessories such as USB hubs, stands/sleeves, and power stations, Chinese brand Novoo introduced this week the RG67 charger. According to the press release, this piece of hardware comes as "the world’s 1st SuperVOOC 67W GaN charger" and is an ideal choice for use at the office, at home, or on the go.
The Novoo RG67 can fully charge a Macbook 13 in 2 hours and features one USB-A port and one USB-C. It can deliver up to 67 W via USB-C and 50 W via USB-A. Although priced competitively, it features a compact design with a durable build and its surface is resistant to fingerprints. This charger sports a temperature sensor and protection from shorts, over-voltage, and overcurrent.
The maximum output when using both ports is 45 W + 18 W (USB-C + USB-A). The maximum values for the 67 W PD 3.0-compliant USB Type-C output are 20 V and 3.35 A, while the 50 W SuperVOOC 2.0 USB-A output can go up to 10 V and 6.5 A. The list of devices it can charge includes the Macbook Air and Macbook Pro 14, the Dell XPS 13 9360, Lenovo's ThinkPad E490 and X390, Google PixelBook, HP Spectre Folio, Nintendo Switch, and many others.
Available only in black, but with both US and EU plug types, the Novoo RG67 GaN charger has a price tag that reads US$31.99 and is already available for sale on the manufacturer's website.
