OPPO has finally announced a date on which its next mobile flagships will make their debut, confirming the long-rumored Find X6 Pro design overhaul into the bargain. The new probably premium-tier smartphone has yet to be revealed in its entirety; however, its round camera hump, with a square lens in its bottom half as predicted is now in view in the OEM's artful new teaser images.
The official renders also specify a tan leather finish for the rest of the visible rear panel, thereby possibly matching the two-tone look from an earlier leak. It seems OPPO has added a metallic ring around the camera hump, with an interesting dot-like accent at the bottom, as a final flourish.
The Find X6 Pro is, accordingly, now being hyped as a "video flagship" with a telephoto lens capable of "spanning light and shade" with the video clip intended to demonstrate what is meant by that.
The 2023 Android device also has a new pre-order page to go with these teasers, although it is still mostly inactive and cagey about what it will reveal in advance (color options? "Stay tuned". RAM/storage configurations? "Stay tuned". Possibility of multiple variants? "Stay tuned").
On that note, the X6, a putative vanilla model tipped to rock a completely different style, lacks the same presence on OPPO's website thus far. This, as the OEM's new launch page reads "Find X6 series" when Google-translated, is a little odd.
Then again, that same title also apparently goes on to read "World Premiere", when the X6 series is currently believed to be sold in China only in 2023. We may get the chance to find out for sure on March 21 at 14:00 Beijing time (07:00 CET) when the X6 Pro and any variation thereon makes its newly scheduled debut.
