Oppo Reno8 T and Reno8 T 5G debut with divergent hardware
Oppo has presented the Reno8 T series, with a Vietnamese launch seemingly planned before introductions in other markets. Currently, only the Reno8 T and Reno8 T 5G have arrived, which Oppo has distinguished by more than just a 5G chipset.
In fact, the pair only share twin 2 MP auxiliary rear-facing cameras and a 32 MP front-facing sensor. The Reno8 T and Reno8 T 5G even have different chassis. Specifically, while the former measures 160.8 x 73.8 x 7.8 mm and weighs up to 183 g if you choose its vegan leather variant, the Reno8 T 5G comes in at 162.3 x 74.3 x 7.7 mm and 171 g. Oppo also offers the Reno8 T and Reno8 T 5G in different colours. The Reno8 T is available in Vietnam for VND 8.49 million, which currently converts to US$357. Conversely, the Reno8 T 5G retails for VND 9.9 million, equivalent to US$430. Oppo states that sales will begin on February 8 for the Reno8 T 5G; the Reno8 T is already orderable, though.
