OPPO Reno13 Pro tipped for upgrade to more flagship-grade features
The OPPO Reno12 Pro is a mid-range smartphone that got more premium with the addition of Gorilla Glass and an IP65 ingress-protection rating on its early 2024 launch in China.
Now, its successor might improve on that level of water- and dust-resistance again, according to the prolific tipster Digital Chat Station. Furthermore, the Reno13 Pro is now also rumored to debut with a series-first upgrade to wireless charging - perhaps even that of the new magnetic variety also slated to hit the flagship Find X8 series on its appearance.()
The 13 Pro might stick with the same 50MP telephoto lens (of the "vertical" kind to fit in with the Reno line's portrait specialist selling point), although it might also replace the Dimensity 9200+ of the 12 Pro with the newer 9300.
The Reno13 series is also thought to upgrade to extra-large batteries (again, just like the Find X8 series) and 100W SuperVOOC charging - although that might in fact make them better than their flagship counterparts in that respect.
The Reno12 Pro Global Edition: now starting at INR 32,959 (~$392) on Amazon India.
