Honor X60 and X60 Pro released to disrupt mid-range smartphone market with 108 MP cameras and other enticing features
Honor has kicked off the X60 series with a pair of new smartphone releases. In short, while the X60 and X60 Pro are part of the same family, Honor distinguishes the pair in several areas. With that being said, both feature 8 MP front-facing and 108 MP rear-facing cameras.
As for differences, Honor installs a 6.8-inch LCD panel inside the X60 that outputs at 2,412 x 1,080 pixels with a 389 PPI pixel density, a 120 Hz refresh rate and 850 nits (HBM) peak brightness. By contrast, the X60 Pro utilises a brighter 120 Hz AMOLED panel that delivers up to 3,000 nits while outputting at 1224 x 2700 pixels and measuring 6.78-inches across. As a result, the X60 Pro has a higher 437 PPI pixel density too.

Additionally, the X60 relies upon MediaTek's Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, which Honor has paired with a 5,800 mAh battery that supports 35 W wired charging. Meanwhile, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 powers the X60 Pro, just like last year's Moto G Stylus 2023 (curr. $229.99 on Amazon). However, Honor powers the mid-range chipset with a 6,600 mAh Silicon Carbon (Si/C) battery that the X60 Pro can recharge at 66 W.
Currently, the X60 and X60 Pro are only available in China, where they start at CNY 1,199 (~$168) and CNY 1,499 (~$211) with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, respectively. Both models are available in multiple memory configurations though, culminating in options with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
