Leak reveals Porsche Design Honor Magic 7 RSR camera specs and details of a new Honor GT model
Honor recently announced the Magic7 and Magic7 Pro, but it plans to add a third model soon which will launch as the Porsche Design Honor Magic7 RSR. Ahead of its arrival, the camera specifications have been revealed by a leaker.
The Porsche Design Honor Magic7 RSR will launch as a successor to the Porsche Design Honor Magic6 RSR. If the name didn't already give it away, the phone is a collaboration between Honor and Porsche. Honor already showed off the design of the Magic7 RSR at the Magic7's launch event, and it is almost identical to that of the Magic6 RSR.

The Honor Magic7 RSR retains the Flyline Porsche Design look. There's a large hexagonal camera island on the back of the phone that houses three rear cameras. The Magic7 RSR also has flat sides and not curved sides like its predecessor. Unlike the Magic6 RSR which launched in Agate Gray and Frozen Berry, the Magic7 RSR will be available in Provence Purple like the 2024 Porsche Macan EV in addition to Agate Gray.
Coming to the leaked camera specs shared on Weibo by Digital Chat Station, the Porsche Design Honor Magic7 RSR will have a 50MP primary rear camera with a variable aperture and a 200MP periscope camera. If that sounds familiar, that is because both sensors are the same as the ones on the Magic7 Pro. While the third sensor which is the ultrawide angle camera isn't stated, it is most likely a 50MP sensor too.
In addition to the camera specs of the Magic7 RSR, the source also revealed that a new Honor GT smartphone is coming. It will arrive as Honor's answer to Redmi and iQoo's performance lines. While the phone doesn't have a name yet, it is likely a successor to the Honor 90 GT released almost a year ago. The upcoming phone is expected to have a flat display with a 1.5K resolution, a large battery, and possibly, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
