Google reduces Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro Fold smartphones by 30% in early Black Friday deal
Google has not long released the Pixel 9 series, which currently consists of four models. For reference, the series currently consists of the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold (curr. $1,799 on Amazon). However, it is widely assumed these four will be supplemented by the Pixel 9a early next year.
In advance of that, Google has decided to cut the price of its existing Pixel 9 smartphones by 30% in a new deal. For context, the new markdown follows a lesser one that the company for Google One subscribers at the tail end of October. While that deal added a $150 discount to Google One's subscribers standard 10% rebate, Google's new reduction goes much further.
For example, a 30% reduction on the base Pixel 9 brings its price down to $559.30. However, applying the same deal to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold with 512 GB of storage drops it to $1,343.30, which represents a $570 saving in real terms. Please note that you must be enrolled as a Google Play Points member to be eligible for the deal, which must be redeemed by the end of December 2, 2024. If that applies, you can access your unique code by heading to the Play Points section of the Google Play Store, where you will find it listed under 'Perks'.
