The video opens up with a handful of cases in a variety of colors and textures, and then it shows an AIRVOOC magnetic wireless charger capable of charging the Find X8 at up to 50W. The charger is shown to have an integrated cooling fan.
Another accessory that appears in the video is a slim battery pack like the Anker MagGo Power Bank (curr. available on Amazon for $56) that attaches via magnets to the back of the Find X8. There's no mention of the power output of the power bank but a USB-C port can be seen at the bottom on one of the sides. It appears the 50W AIRVOOC magnetic wireless charger and the magnetic powerbank are the only two accessories under Oppo Mag for now.
Apart from the accessories, an important info revealed by the video is that the Oppo Find X8 seems to rely on the magnetic cases to work with the Oppo Mag accessories. This means the phone itself doesn't have magnets under the hood like the iPhone 12 and newer models which have MagSafe.
The Oppo Mag accessories should not only work with the Find X8 series but also the upcoming OnePlus 13 which has been confirmed to also have support for magnetic wireless charging via cases with integrated magnets. The Oppo Mag accessories may actually even be rebranded as OnePlus products in other markets.
The Oppo Find X8 series and Oppo Mag accessories will be unveiled on October 24 in China while a global launch is expected to happen later.
