OPPO is preparing its next flagship smartphone lineup, the Find X6 series, for launch. Multiple leaks over the past few months have exposed the design and hardware of the premium phones, and a new leak has now tipped the OPPO Find X6 Pro to supersede all rivals in one aspect.
As revealed by Chinese tipsters Ice Universe and Digital Chat Station, it appears the OPPO Find X6 Pro will debut with the brightest AMOLED screen seen on a smartphone yet. Yes, even brighter than the displays on the iPhone 14 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. According to Ice Universe, the Find X6 Pro's display will be capable of peak brightness values north of 2400 nits. In comparison, the current champion, Apple's iPhone 14 Pro Max, tops out at 2000 nits. The Galaxy S23 Ultra only reaches 1750 nits, just like the S22 Ultra before it.
Of course, peak brightness values tell just one side of the story, with phones only ever managing to hit those heights under specific conditions. It'll be more interesting to see how the OPPO Find X6 Pro's display fares versus its rivals in the real world. We'll be sure to reveal our findings on that whenever the flagship launches and we get to review it.
