Chuwi has released a few devices lately, including the MiniBook X with an Intel Processor N150 (curr. $345.99 on Amazon). Now, it has decided to dip its toes into the world of gaming laptops with the GameBook, which it has previewed on its global website.
According to the company, the GameBook combines an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX APU with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU. The gaming laptop also sports two SO-DIMMM slots for up to 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM, along with a pair of M.2 2280 slots for adding one PCIe 5.0 and one PCIe 4.0 SSD. The Chuwi GameBook boasts a 77.77 Wh battery that can be recharged at up to 250 W via a DC input or 140 W using its rear-mounted USB Type-C port.
Moreover, Chuwi reports that the GameBook leverages a 16-inch IPS display that outputs at 2.5K (2,560 x 1,600) with a 300 Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB colour space coverage and 500 nits peak brightness. Ultimately, the GameBook appears to share its design and features with the XMG Neo 16 2025, albeit without the latter's Mini LED display. Chuwi has not indicated how much the GameBook costs yet though, nor when it will be available. Please see the company's website for more hardware details.
