Microsoft recently announced a new Surface Laptop and Surface Pro. Apparently, those were not the only new products. The Redmond-based tech giant also announced two new colors for the Surface Arc Mouse.
Originally available to buy in Black, Burgundy, Colbalt Blue, and Light Gray, the Surface Arc Mouse now comes in Violet and Ocean. The new colors are available to pre-order now on Microsoft's store or Best Buy for the same $89.99 price tag as the other colors. They will be released on May 20.
Microsoft has been making the Surface Arc Mouse since 2008, however, it has evolved over the years, bringing new design and features. The current iteration has a flexible and ambidextrous design. Snapping the mouse into its curved position powers it on while snapping it flat turns it off. This also makes it easy to stow away in a bag or pocket. In addition to left and right click functions, the mouse also has a touch area that allows for vertical and horizontal scrolling.
The Surface Arc Mouse connects via Bluetooth 4.1 and is powered by two AAA batteries which should provide up to 6 months of use. Microsoft says it works with Windows 11 and Windows 10 devices, but it should also work with other Bluetooth devices.
