Reolink has launched the upgraded E1 Pro 5 MP indoor security camera with AI crying baby alerts.
The E1 Pro uses a f/1.6 lens that supposedly captures clear images even in low-light situations. In pure darkness, eight infrared LEDs can illuminate the room without disturbing sleeping babies, claims the camera maker. The 360-degree camera can pan and tilt to view all areas of the room it is in while auto-tracking detected people and pets.
The 1/2.7-inch CMOS sensor records 2,880 x 1,616 pixel (5 MP) videos at 20 fps to microSD cards, Reolink NVRs, Reolink Home Hubs, or networked FTP/NAS storage devices. The camera can be set to alert owners to the detection of any motion, human motion, pet motion, or crying babies. Recordings can be set to occur only with the detection of motion, on a set schedule, or around-the-clock.
The smart camera can be voice controlled through Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa over dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi connections. The built-in speaker and microphone allow for remote conversations.
The camera measures 84 x 118 mm (3.3 x 4.6 in.) and weighs 235 g (8.3 oz.). It can be used standing on a table or mounted on the wall.
The Reolink E1 Pro has an MSRP of $47.99. The camera is available for purchase at Reolink.com and coming soon to the Reolink store on Amazon.
