Hup AI has launched a smart camera and iPhone app that use AI to monitor homes and remind users to complete daily tasks and chores, and alert them to changes in the home environment.

Hup AI has released a smartphone app and smart camera to help monitor owners and remind them to complete daily to-dos.

The system uses a $89 Made-in-America smart camera that monitors home occupants 24/7/365. Snapshot images of the location are uploaded automatically to the cloud for processing, with local filters available to block unsafe photos from being uploaded and processed.

The Hup smartphone app is used to program tasks to remind forgetful owners to do chores that the smart camera detects have not been done, such as taking out the trash or putting things away neatly. This is unlike upcoming full-service humanoid robots, such as the 1X Neo, that can do chores on their own. The AI can also be set up to send environmental alerts, such as when a bird has entered the backyard.

The app is currently only available for the Apple iPhone (sold on Amazon) and no subscription is required at this time to use the service.
