Razer has finally shown off its 18-inch desktop replacement. The Razer Blade 18 is now official with a Core Ultra 9 275HX, RTX 5090, a 4K 120 Hz/1080p 440 Hz dual-mode display and a Thunderbolt 5.0 port.

Razer's CES 2025 lineup seemed incomplete without a colossal 18-incher to supplement the more suave Razer Blade 16. But, the Razer Blade 18 is indeed real and has been unveiled today. Alas, it was shadow dropped unceremoniously via a press release. Unlike its 16-inch counterpart that switched to Team Red.

The Razer Blade 18 comes with an Intel CPU, specifically the Core Ultra 9 275HX. This is one of the fastest Arrow Lake-HX CPUs offered by Intel, and anything lower would be unacceptable. You can pair it with up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 Blackwell graphics card with 24 GB of video memory. Other choices include a GeForce RTX 5080 (16 GB) and RTX 5070 Ti (12 GB).

Between the CPU and GPU, Razer has allocated a total of 280 Watts of power. This should allow the power-hungry parts to spread their wings and sustain maximum performance for longer. Of course, cooling 280 Watts is no joke, and that's why the Razer Blade 18 is nearly 47% thicker and 50% heavier than the Blade 16 from this year. It measures 27.94 mm x 275.4 mm x 399.96 mm (1.1-in x 10.84-in x 15.7-in) and weighs a whopping 3.1 kg (7.06 lbs).

Additionally, the laptop comes with a 99 Wh battery and a 400 Watt power brick. The Razer Blade 18 comes with an 18-inch dual-mode display capable of operating at 4K 120 Hz or 1080p 440 Hz. Usually, this feature is commonplace in gaming monitors, and it is good to see it trickling down to gaming laptops. Other features include a response time of 3 ms and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage.

Like all the Razer Blade 18 models that came before it, the new one is packed to the brim with I/O. You get 3x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A Ports, 1x Thunderbolt 5 port with DP 2.1/100 Watt USB PD charging, 1x Thunderbolt 4 port with the same specs, 2.5Gb Ethernet, 1x HDMI 2.1 port and an SD Card Reader. Lastly, there's a 5 MP webcam with Windows Hello baked in.

The top-spec Razer Blade 18 variant with a Core Ultra 9 275HX and RTX 5090 will set you back by $4,499 - not unrealistic for a Razer laptop. This configuration gets you 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and a 2 TB NVMe SSD. Pre-orders are live now on Razer's official website.
