Asus has now started taking pre-orders for the latest versions of its ROG Zephyrus G14 and ROG Zephyrus G16 laptops, which replace GA403 and GU605 (curr. $1,848 on Amazon) variants, respectively. To recap, the company presented the pair last month during CES 2025 in Las Vegas. While Asus indicated that the ROG Zephyrus G14 and ROG Zephyrus G16 would start at $2,199.99 and $1,999, these prices are nowhere to be found for the time being.
Instead, the ROG Zephyrus G14 currently starts at $2,499 with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU, 32 GB of RAM and an RTX 5070 Ti GPU. As a result, we suspect that Asus will eventually sell an RTX 5070 option for the $2,199.99 starting price it quoted during CES 2025. Conversely, the new ROG Zephyrus G14 tops out at $3,199.99 with an RTX 5080 but with 32 GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage like other SKUs.
Meanwhile, Asus is offering five ROG Zephyrus G16 SKUs at launch, ranging from $2,799 to $4,599.99. At the one end, Asus includes an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor and an RTX 5070 Ti GPU, which it complements with 32 GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage. At the other end, the Zephyrus G16 comes with the same processor and storage but an RTX 5090 and 64 GB of RAM. Please see Asus' website links below for more details.
