Unlike the AMD-powered Asus ROG Zephyrus G14, its 16-inch version uses hardware from Team Blue. It comes at the cost of expandable memory, with the Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 supporting a maximum of 64 GB LPDDR5X RAM. You can pair it with up to a 2 TB NVMe SSD and add more if needed via the 2x PCIe Gen4 SSD slots.
Unlike the ROG Strix Scar lineup, the Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 comes with a 16-inch OLED screen (2,560 x 1,600, 500 nits peak brightness, 240 Hz refresh rate, HDR, 100% DCI-P3). That pairs well with its Intel Core Ultra 9 285H CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 GPU. The H-class CPU, in particular, should give the Blackwell behemoth more power headroom to spread its wings in GPU-intensive scenarios.
Other specs include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, a Thunderbolt 4.0 port, one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one HDMI 2.1 port and one 3.5 mm combo audio jack, a 1080p webcam and a 90 Wh battery. The Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 can be purchased soon starting at $1,999.
