Alongside the new Vivobook S 14 and the S 16 powered by the new AMD Krackan Point APUs, Asus has also launched the Vivobook S 16 (S5606CA) with Intel Arrow Lake-H mobile CPUs. The laptop boasts all the features that users expect from modern Vivobook S series notebooks like a smart chassis, an OLED display, and more.
Asus Vivobook S 16 now comes with up to a Core Ultra 9 285H
The Asus Vivobook S 16 (S5606CA) is more or less identical to the AMD-based Vivobook S 16 (M5606KA). As such, both notebooks share the aluminum chassis, display, ports, battery capacity (75 Wh), etc. The key difference between the two Vivobook S 16 models comes down to the inclusion of Intel’s newly announced Core Ultra 200H Arrow Lake-H CPUs in the Vivobook S 16 (S5606CA). With this change, users can now have the Asus Vivobook S 16 (S5606CA) with up to a Core Ultra 9 285H, a powerful 16-core chip that can use as much as 115 W.
When it comes to the display, the Vivobook S 16 (S5606CA) can be configured with a 16-inch Asus Lumina OLED panel. The display features a resolution of 2,880x1,800, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 gamut. We tested the Asus Lumina OLED display in our review of the Asus Zenbook S 16 and found the panel to be excellent.
The Asus Vivobook S 16 also allows you to connect to multiple displays at the same time thanks to the presence of two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one HDMI 2.1, and a Type-C connector with support for DisplayPort. Other ports include two Type-A and a 3.5 mm jack.
So, when and for how much can you buy the Vivobook S 16 (S5606CA)?
