Asus demands a staggering $4,600 for the highest-end RTX 5090 variant with the Core Ultra 9 285H CPU and a 240 Hz OLED display. The “Excellent” condition SKU looks brand-new and comes with all the packaging as a new machine Best Buy also has the same exchange and return policy for these ROG Zephyrus G16 units. So, if you go with the “Excellent” variant, you are essentially getting a new laptop for $580 lower than the MSRP.
For the price, the hardware of the Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 on sale shines with an RTX 4070 laptop GPU that can play modern AAA titles at high frame rates. The GPU is paired with a Core i7-13620H CPU, 16 GB of expandable RAM, 512 GB of upgradable storage, and a 16-inch display.
The FHD+ IPS panel refreshes at a fast 165 Hz, supports Nvidia G-Sync, covers 100% sRGB, and can manage 300 nits of brightness. There is also a MUX switch for switching the graphics adapter between the iGPU and the RTX 4070.
Other important hardware details include a large 90 Wh battery, an RGB keyboard, Wi-Fi 6E, and a healthy port selection that includes all the usual connectors.
