The Windows laptop ecosystem is no stranger to novel product designs. For instance, we’ve seen a rollable screen in the Lenovo ThinkBook Gen 6 Plus and a foldable display in the Zenbook 17 Fold. However, no out-of-the-ordinary Windows laptop has enjoyed the success and adoption of the Asus Zenbook Duo. With two OLED screens that open up a variety of use cases, the Asus Zenbook Duo is made for multitaskers who need more screen real estate than ordinary laptops.
If you fall into this category of users, you’ll be happy to know that the latest Asus Zenbook Duo 14 OLED laptop has recorded a major discount on Amazon. The laptop can now be yours for $1,449.99 instead of the $1,699.99 full retail price (linked at the end). Per camelcamelcamel, this seems to be the first major price cut for the notebook.
Refreshed for 2025, the Asus Zenbook Duo features the same quirky design as its predecessor. The laptop packs two 14-inch Asus Lumina OLED displays with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and touch/pen support. Both screens boast 500 nits of max HDR brightness and are Pantone-validated. Moreover, thanks to the inclusion of a kickstand, you can orient the display either vertically or horizontally.
For the inputs, Asus bundles a Bluetooth keyboard with the laptop that can be placed over the second display to make the Zenbook Duo appear like a regular clamshell notebook. Naturally, you can use the keyboard separately, allowing you to take full advantage of both panels.
On the inside, the Asus Zenbook Duo on sale features the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 285H “Arrow Lake” mobile CPU. The 14-core CPU is paired with 32 GB of LPDDR5x memory, 1 TB of storage (extendable to 2 TB), and a 75 Wh battery. Graphics are handled by the Intel Arc 140T iGPU. Finally, the Zenbook Duo features:
- Two Thunderbolt 4 ports
- One USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port
- One HDMI 2.1 out
- A 3.5 mm combo jack
The exclusion of an SD card is a bummer, since the Asus Zenbook Duo is a pretty solid content-editing machine, as shown by our video review linked below.
Aside from this minor inconvenience, the Asus Zenbook Duo 14 (2025) has a lot going for it. Our review of an entry-level SKU with 60 Hz displays shows that the dual-screen concept works quite well for productivity use. The laptop also boasts better performance than the last-gen machine, thanks to the powerful Core Ultra 9 285H and the Arc 140T iGPU. Asus has also done a good job with the detachable keyboard.
Long story short, the Asus Zenbook Duo 14 (2025)’s dual-screen design is a boon for multitaskers. Even if you aren’t a heavy multitasker, the Zenbook Duo is also a good laptop overall.
