Almost two months have passed since Razer introduced a new version of the Blade 16 to replace the 2024 edition we reviewed just over a year ago. As we discussed during CES 2025, the Blade 16 2025 is 30% smaller than its predecessor. Consequently, the Blade 16 is now about as thin and light as the latest MacBook Pro 16 (curr. $2,239 on Amazon).
Razer complements this drop in size with a choice between AMD's Ryzen AI 9 365 and Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APUs. On top of that, the Blade 16 2025 can be configured with one of Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5080 or RTX 5090 GPUs, which feature 12 GB GDDR7, 16 GB GDDR7 and 24 GB GDDR7 VRAM, respectively. The new 16-inch laptop comes with 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8000 RAM by default but can be upgraded to 64 GB of RAM during the configuration process.
Likewise, Razer offers the Blade 16 2025 with 1 TB, 2 TB or 4 TB of storage, with the latter split across both its M.2 slots with a pair of 2 TB drives. A QHD+ (2,560 x 1,600) and 240 Hz OLED display comes with all configurations, though. For reference, all this hardware is rounded off by a 90 Wh battery that can be recharged to 80% in just 48 minutes thanks to a 200 W power adapter.
The Razer Blade 16 2025 starts at $2,799.99 with a Ryzen AI 9 365, 32 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD and an RTX 5070 Ti GPU. Prices quickly climb above $3,000 for more powerful SKUs though; the switch to an RTX 5080 adds $400 alone. As it stands, the Blade 16 2025 maxes out at $4,599.99 with a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, 64 GB of RAM, 4 TB of storage and an RTX 5090 GPU. Please see Razer's website for more details.
