McDonald's bundles meals with exclusive A Minecraft Movie games and collectables
McDonald's will launch two new meals on April 1 in collaboration with the April 4 release of A Minecraft Movie. Both meals will include exclusive digital specials for Minecraft fans.
For adults, A Minecraft Movie Meal offers one of six digital collectibles and a matching card along with a Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, a drink, and medium fries. The six collectibles are named: Big Mac Crystal, Birdie Wings, Fry Helmet, Grimace Egg, Soda Potion, and Zombie Hamburglar. An exclusive Nether Flame Sauce sweet hot sauce with red pepper, cayenne, and garlic can be selected with the McNuggets.
Purchase of this meal through the McDonald's app adds an exclusive code to unlock the McDonald's Minecraft Add-On pack, which adds company-themed builds, characters, and tools.
For kids, A Minecraft Movie Happy Meal offers a hamburger or 4/6-piece Chicken McNuggets, apple slices, milk, and kid-sized fries. An exclusive figurine or Block World toy is included with an exclusive digital game code to play A Minecraft Movie quest on www.happymeal.com.
